Accuracy is the whole point of this site, so if something here is wrong, unclear, or out of date, we want to fix it.
What counts as a correction
- A factual error (a wrong statistic, species detail, disease figure, or safety point).
- Something that has changed since we last reviewed the page (for example, a vaccine status or a case count).
- A source that no longer supports the claim, or a broken reference link.
- Guidance that reads as unclear or could be misunderstood.
How we handle it
When a correction comes in, we check it against the authoritative sources described on our How we source page. If the point holds up, we update the page and refresh its last-reviewed date. If a claim cannot be re-verified, we remove it rather than leave something unsupported in place.
How to report one
Use the details on our Contact page, and if you can, include the page, the specific statement, and a source. That makes it much faster to check and fix.
